NOMADRIEL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026

Introduction

Nomadriel Records respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have — written as plainly as we can manage. We keep things simple because we collect very little.

Who we are

Nomadriel Records is the trade name representing the Nomadriel music project. For all privacy matters, you can reach us at [email protected]. A postal address is available upon written request.

Where data protection law requires us to identify a data controller, that controller is Nomadriel Records.

What we collect

Email addresses. When you subscribe to our newsletter via the signup form on this site, we collect your email address. This is processed and stored by ConvertKit (Kit), our email marketing provider.

Correspondence. If you contact us directly by email, we receive whatever information you choose to include in your message.

Technical and security data. Cloudflare, our hosting and content delivery provider, may process IP addresses and request metadata as part of operating the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not access or retain this data directly.

Analytics. We do not currently use any analytics tools. We do not track your behaviour across the site or across other websites.

How we use it

We use your email address solely to send you occasional announcements — new releases, destinations unlocking, and related news. We do not send frequent messages.

We use email correspondence to respond to inquiries and press requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not build profiles of individual users. We do not run advertising or retargeting campaigns.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Consent. Newsletter subscriptions are processed on the basis of your explicit consent, given at the point of signup via a double opt-in process. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

Legitimate interest. Operating the website and maintaining security (including Cloudflare protections) is based on our legitimate interest in running a functional and secure service.

Legal obligation. We may retain certain records where required by applicable law.

Data processors we work with

We share data only with the following processors, strictly for the purposes described above:

ConvertKit, Inc. (Kit) — provides our newsletter delivery and subscriber management. ConvertKit is based in the United States. Their privacy policy is available at convertkit.com/privacy.

Cloudflare, Inc. — provides our hosting, CDN, and security layer. Their privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

We do not use any advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.

International data transfers

ConvertKit is based in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data transfer restrictions, your email address will be transferred to and processed in the US.

ConvertKit participates in mechanisms designed to ensure adequate protection for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. You can find details in their privacy policy.

Data retention

Newsletter subscribers. Your email address is retained in ConvertKit for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time via any email we send, and your data will be removed from our mailing list promptly.

Email correspondence. Emails sent to us directly are retained for a reasonable correspondence period (up to two years) and then deleted, unless we have a continuing legal or operational need to retain them.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you.

Rectification. You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.

Erasure. You can ask us to delete your personal data. For newsletter subscriptions, unsubscribing achieves this directly.

Restriction. You can ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.

Portability. You can ask us to provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise your California rights, contact us at [email protected].

Children's data

Our site and services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal data. Our site is served over TLS (HTTPS), protected by Cloudflare's security layer, and subscriber data is held by ConvertKit using their own security infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we make every reasonable effort to protect your information.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — those set by Cloudflare for security and bot protection purposes. These are strictly necessary for the site to function securely and cannot be disabled.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies of any kind.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. If changes are material, we will announce them via our newsletter.
